Mrs. Henkel is proud to serve as Assistant Principal and is passionate about creating a school environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.

A former high school science teacher, she brings a strong instructional background and a belief that learning is a lifelong journey. She believes strong relationships are the foundation for success and works closely with students, families, and staff to build a culture of trust, respect, and belonging.

Mrs. Henkel resides in DeKalb County with her family and is involved in various activities with her children.
