Kristi Baccheschi has been a dedicated member of the District 428 community since 2003. She began her tenure as a 5th-grade teacher at Clinton Rosette Middle School before transitioning to Brooks Elementary in 2004 during the district’s grade reconfiguration.

Over the course of twelve years at Brooks, Ms. Baccheschi taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades, gaining a comprehensive understanding of student development across elementary levels. This diverse classroom experience inspired her transition to administration, leading to her appointment as Principal of Malta Elementary in 2016.

Ms. Baccheschi believes that a commitment to learning, kindness, and integrity is essential for student success. She is dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential and build the futures they envision.
